Frequently Asked Questions.

Why Should I Choose a Psychiatrist?

Our psychiatrists undergo extensive medical education, starting with an undergraduate degree in a STEM field like Human or Molecular Biology, followed by four years in medical school & training to earn their doctorate degree. They then complete an additional four years of specialized residency training in psychiatry, mentored by physicians from prestigious universities such as Stanford, Harvard, Duke, Notre Dame, UCLA, USC, and Georgetown. This rigorous training equips our psychiatrists with specialized expertise in the biological, psychological, and social factors affecting mental health.

A primary reason to see a psychiatrist is their ability to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual. They can prescribe medications as needed and offer psychotherapy to manage symptoms and enhance quality of life.

For example, our psychiatrists train within renowned institutions like UCSF (University of California, San Francisco) medical system, ensuring they receive exceptional education and opportunities for advanced specialization through additional training and research. This background enables them to provide innovative therapies and stay updated on the latest advancements in mental health care.

Ultimately, psychiatrists offer expert guidance and tailored support to meet individual needs, promoting improved mental health outcomes and overall well-being.
